D AKT (DESIGN AKTIVE) is a multidisciplinary design studio grounded in Social, Graphic, Web, Interactive, and Experimental practices. Founded in response to the limitations of traditional design, we embrace decolonial methodologies that challenge the notion of design as merely aesthetic. Our work rejects aesthetic norms, centers lived experiences, and amplifies underrepresented voices especially those of Latinx, BIPOC, and LGBTQIA+ communities. We believe design is not just a tool for communication, but a practice of cultural agency, social responsibility, and collective transformation.
